Next up for this guy is the final illustration. I havent really worked out a composition yet so I'll probably be posting some thumbnails or something (maybe) for that.

I might also do up a value study of the other option that i had in the previous post.

Here is some progress on my environment. Its not much, but its something. I've been looking at Paul Lasaine a lot for the ice, he does it well in some of his works. I still need to work on defining the surface texture of a lot of the stuff in the foreground, so thats whats next.

Well, here is my update. Its lousy, I know, but the fates conspired against me in making my internet stop working last night. This is harder than I thought! But I'm not giving up!

I wanted to do some last minute switcharoo's on this guy to figure out what I liked best before I went into any kind of larger format. So next up should hopefully be some sort of larger drawing of this guy with more detail.

Its coming! I promise! I might miss midnight though :(

I came home with a splitting headache last night so I will do a double update tonight to make up for it!!

Concepting for a project of mine. I was looking at a lot of Square-Enix's boss monsters for inspiration. This is the creature that lives in the pocket dimension inside the Celestial Crystal.
